How You Can HelpHere are the recommended agencies. I beg you to please donate as much money as you possibly can. Financial assistance is not only needed for relief but also for rebuilding and basic needs. So
please donate. Thanks to the following individuals who helped bring our attention to how we can help:

The eyeranian, Pedram Moallemian, recommends using Mercy Corps as a method of sending donations. They can be reached via their web site mercycorps.org or by calling 1.800.292.3355 ext. 250
Mailing address to send your checks is:
Mercy Corps
Iran Earthquake
Dept. W
PO Box 2669
Portland, OR 97208-266
Please mark your checks with “Iran Earthquake” so the funds are directed towards this effort.

Natasha Behbahany, one Iranian Truth's co-authors, and an employee of Relief International has stated that her agency is similarly on the ground and is currently accepting donations by phone and will handle the money directly as opposed to channeling it to other organizations. Donations can be made online by clicking here. However, right now, the best method of direct donation is via phone: (310) 478-1200 or, for those outside Los Angeles:1-800-573-3332 As Pedram notes, Relief International "has some experience in this area, having 'had on-going representation in Iran that has been working on long-term reconstruction efforts from the 2002 Qazvin earthquake and the 2001 Golestan flood.'"

The National Iranian American Council has been in contact with bloggers and is currently coordinating with Mercy Corps to get material support to Iran and is similarly in connection with both Relief International and the Red Cross. Updates about donation efforts can be found at their website niacouncil.org
